Description of Marina di Campo beach
The beach of Marina di Campo is located in the middle of Elba's southern coast,within the municipality of Campo nell'Elba. The beach of Marina di Campo has a large sandy shore originated from white granite. The beach of Marina di Campo is the longest beach of Elba Island, thanks to its beautiful shore that stretches for about 1.5 km from the dock of Marina di Campo to the opposite side La Foce.
The beach is characterized by fine sand originated from the erosion of granitic rocks. The sandy shore is equipped with comfortable beach clubs alternated to free beach areas. A unique touch to the beach is given by the ancient pinewood that grows behind the middle of the gulf. Inside the pinewood you can find an equipped area for your kids. Also the small harbor, popular among tourists and local fishermen, is able to coexist with the beach resort of Marina di Campo, where the water remains clear and turquoise especially when the mistral blows.
Access to the beach of Marina di Campo
You can easily reach Marina di Campo beach by following the
directions on the main road, or following one of the many streets
that cross Viale degli Etruschi towards the wide and beautiful
beach in the vast gulf of Marina di Campo. You can find most of
the car parks inside the village of Marina di Campo and on the
opposite side by the beach resort La Foce.
