Itinerary Mezza Strega




The path of Mezza Strega is located inside the Elba Gravity Bike Park and partly in locality le Panche, where you start to climb up to reach the top of Mount Capannello(496 m asl). Reaching the top you can enjoy a wonderful view that will make you amazed.

The 3.39 km-long path is hard enough and suitable for makingCross Country one of the most extreme cycling disciplines. From this point starts a downhill path, until you reach the Passo la Croce, where you turn right and then take the first left path that cuts in half all the Monte Strega. We will cross above the village of Rio nell'Elba, until you reach the asphalt road.

Once reaching the road, you turn right on the path down to Acquavivola, a spring water source where you can refresh and rest. After the stop, we get on the bike and leave behind us the source, where after about one hundred meters, we turn right onto an uphill path which will lead us to the top of the village of Rio nell'Elba. Further down the road we might come to the center of the country.

For mountain biking enthusiasts we recommend a guided tour, where local expert guides will show you wonderful natural paths so you can enjoy in complete freedom. There is also the opportunity to rent professional mountain bike and full equipment on site.
