The location of Schiopparello is about 4km away from the town of Portoferraio to which it belongs administratively. It is a residential location situated in the countryside in a flat area that rises in front of the Gulf of Portoferraio. It has also a nice long beach just over 300 metres long which is completely without services and wild.
The beach is sheltered within the bay of Portoferraio and is mainly characterized by medium sized gravels with a line of sand which is run by a hotel located nearby. To get to the beach we suggest you to cross the beach of Magazzini or the one of Prade since the coast is low and without obstacles.
Beaches close to Schiopparello
The beach of Schiopparello is not much frequented even during the summer season, that is why it is ideal for those looking for a quiet vacation. It has no services, but it offers a beautiful view over Portoferraio and it is lovely in spring thanks to the flowered environment surrounding it; it is also stunning during the off season when you can spot many specimens of birds.
Nearby you can visit the beaches of Magazzini, Ottone, Prade and the more equipped one of Bagnaia at about 5 minutes drive.
