Vignola pathway

The Vignola pathway was the first track to being redeveloped by the volunteers who conceived and created the Elbe Gravity Bike Park. A path that stretches for 2.59 km on the north-eastern side of Elba and takes its name from an old tenement located near a mill.

The start of the Vignola patway is located at Passo dell'Aia di Cacio (Hague Cheese) (302 m s.l.m), on the road between the villages of Rio nell'Elba and Nisporto Nisportino. The landascape is beautiful and, when the weather is good and the view is wide, allows to see on the horizon the outline of Corsica, the island of Capraia until the glimpse the island of Gorgona, while on the right you can see the profile of the Tuscan coast to the beautiful Argentario promontory.

The beginning of the track is characterized by a green hallways of the Mediterranean lower trees. Continuing the terrain becomes more technical, with reefs, crossing a forest of holm oaks.
Continuing, our cycling shadow of Mount, skirting the Valley of the Fiche and flows, including both light up and down, at the foot of Mount Peritondo, where the end of the path leads on the Parade route.
