Description of Le Prade beach

This is a sandy and gravelly beach which has a wild vegetation that borders the shore. From this spot you can enjoy a beautiful view over Portoferraio, which is protected by the homonymous Gulf from the strong seas. Even if there are no services, the beach is suitable for families with children, as the shore slopes gently into the sea.

Access to Le Prade beach

The beach is about 7 km from the old town of Portoferraio, which administratively owns it. To get there from Portoferraio, drive along the road towards Porto Azzurro and turn left in Schiopparello - Bagnaia. There is a car park near a 90° curve that turns right. From here walk along the path until you reach the beach.
