Description of Padulella beach

The beach of Paduella is a lovely white gravelly and pebbly beach near Portoferraio's town. Although it is not very wide, the beach offers both a free access zone and a beach club where you can rent umbrellas, sunbeds, deckchairs and paddle boats. The sea is very beautiful and also ideal for snorkeling. The characteristics of the beach and the presence of services make it suitable and popular among families with children.

Access to Padulella beach

You can reach Padulella along the road that connects it to the beach of Le Ghiaie, which is about 1 km away. From the old town of Portoferraio, turn right along the road leading to the nearby beach of Le Ghiaie and continue for about 1 km. You can reach the shore along two paths: if you are by car, the easiest starts from the parking lot of the nearby beach Capobianco; else if you are by foot, about 300 meters after Le Ghiaie beach, there is a path on the right for pedestrians only (the access by car is denied by a barrier) .
