Description of Punta Nera beach

Punta Nera beach is enclosed within the wonderful Cove of Punta Nera (Cala Punta Nera) on the western side of the Elba coast, about 2 km away from the village of Chiessi in the Municipality of Marciana. It is impossible to reach it by land as the coast is pretty high and steepy; this beach is not so popular and thus it is not much frequented which makes it an ideal place to enjoy a relaxing day at the beach. The beach is characterized by gravels mixed with little stones ranging from gray to white.

Access to Punta Nera beach

Punta Nera beach can only be reached by sea,  preferably with a small motor boat.
