Description of Procchio beach

Procchio beach is characterized by a large and beautiful beach of fine sand , and it looks like one of the largest and most comfortable beaches of Elba Island, together with the beaches of Marina di Campo and Lacona . Ideal for families with children due to its shallow waters of the sea where the first lines are occupied by shallows; it  is easily accessible and at walking distance from the village of Procchio .
The beautiful and wide sandy beach offers the main  beach facilities guaranteed by the numerous beach clubs and rentals where to  rent sun beds and  umbrellas . On the beach there are also bars , restaurants , pizzerias , sailing and windsurfing schools , as well as well known Hotels, B & B and Apartments for rent .

There are in fact many tourist facilities in Procchio where you can spend a pleasant holiday in Elba; you just have to choose your ideal Residence or hotel in Procchio and enjoy a wonderful stay.

Access to Procchio Beach

The village of Procchio is easy to find coming from Portoferraio, which is about 10 km. It is located on the Northern Coast of the Island of Elba in a central spot and to get to the beach there are two accesses; the first directly from the village near the "Salotto di Procchio" where a tree-lined street,  called Via del Mare, with limited access to traffic, takes you to the beach after about 200 meters. The second access to the beach is located in the village of Campo all'Aia: coming from Portoferraio, before getting to the village of Procchio (about 200 metres before)turn right and follow a narrow road downhill until you reach the sea which is about 400 meters away. Here there is also a large dirt parking lot  which is partly shaded.
