Description of Campo all'Aia beach

Campo all'Aia is a flat location rising on the right of the Gulf of Procchio. Mainly residential it offers a nice little beach located within the Gulf. The sandy beach mixed with gravels is separated from Procchio beach by a small bridge where during the rainy season a stream flows to the sea collecting water from the valley. From the beach you can admire La Guardiola, built on the rocky point at the end of the Gulf of Procchio.
This small beach less frequented compared to the greater beach of Procchio is largely free, but there is the possibility of renting umbrellas andsun beds directly at the bar located down the beach; there you can stop for lunch and taste typical  dishes from Elba mainly based on  local fish.

Access to Campo all'Aia beach

The small beach is reached by crossing the beach of Procchio; else, coming from Portoferraio towards Procchio you have to turn right at a deviation before reaching the village of Procchio and follow the road downhill until you reach the seafront. In front of the sea you will find a large dirt parking lot partly shaded by pine trees.
