Description of Le Calanchiole beach

Small but very nice beach, which is mainly composed of sand and bordered on the right by some rocks that separate it from the nearby beach of Lido di Capoliveri. While on the other side the cliffs hides some small and picturesque coves where other small beaches are located. Wild-looking, the only services offered on the beach are a umbrellas rental, sunbeds and motor boats, offered by the nearby campsite.

On the right a small buoy field offers the chance to moor small motor boats; there is also present a small dock. The place is popular for the presence of several caves which got formed over the years close to the cliffs that separate it from the beach of Lido di Capoliveri. The beach has a long and narrow shape, looking wild and free of services.

Access to the beach of Calanchiole

Located on the southern coast of Elba, in Gulf Stella, it can be reached by sea, by swimming from the nearby beach of Lido di Capoliveri, or on foot upon the nearby campsite's permission.
