Description of Lacona beach
One of the largest and most frequented beaches of Elba is the beach of Lacona, with its 1,200 meters of sandy beach. Thanks to the wide spaces it is very popular among young people and families with children.
Behind the beach facilities welcome tourists in campsites, hotels, apartments for rent, residences and hotels. The shore of Lacona is characterized by fine sand partly equipped with beach clubs and sometimes has free access.There are many attractions ranging from watersports to excursions and rentals of all kinds. The depths are low and there are often numerous shoals, which makes it an ideal beach for children who will have fun playing with the sand. In some places, behind the beach, there is a beautiful pine forest. The dunes, covered with Lily of Sea during spring confer to the beach a unique touch.
Access to the beach of Lacona
From the main road that crosses the entire seaside resort and its camping, follow the signs and turn right if you come from Marina di Campo to reach the wide beach.
