Description of the beach of Punta Rossa
The beach is composed of sand and gravel created from the remains of the nearby mines. It is located in the heart of the mining area of Calamita in the municipality of Capoliveri, along the wild Costa dei Gabbiani. The cost is long and narrow and owes its name from the red color of the high rocks of which it is composed. Wild-looking, it does not offer bathing services.
Access to the beach of Punta Rossa
The land access is blocked because the mining area is fenced. Therefore you can reach it only by sea with a motor boat.
