Description of Pareti beach

The beach is well known in the diving world because in the past it got chosen by important figures from the world of apnea as Umberto Pellizzari and Jacques Mayol, as a logistics base to make their apnea world record. The beach is composed of sand and fine gravel set in a picturesque bay that is open to the west, where during the evening you can enjoy indescribable sunsets which illuminate Mount Capanne. The beach is well-equipped with the main services and its bottom slopes gently into the sea: this shallow waters are ideal for families with children.If you want more privacy, you can reach one of the small beaches that are located on either ends of the main beach.

Beach access to Pareti

Located on the southern slope of Mount Calamita, to reach the beach, you have to go from the village of Capoliveri, towards the signpost of Pareti beach. Along the scenic road, after about 2.5 km, reach the detour to the right that will take you to the beautiful bay and the tourist resort of Pareti.

Parking is very limited, for this you should reach it with the shuttle bus service that connects the beaches within Capoliveri.
