The fraction of Bonalaccia rises 7 metres above the sea level and belongs to the municipality of Campo nell’Elba, in Elba Island in the province of Livorno in Tuscany.
The fraction of Bonalaccia is 2.35 km away from the centre of the Marina di Campo village and 700m from the sandy beach of Marina di Campo on the side of La Foce.
La Bonalaccia rises on a plain opposite the east side of the gulf of Marina di Campo and it is a comfortable and quiet residential area located in the countryside behind the famous beach of Elba Island. From the location of Bonalaccia it is possible to reach the sea in few minutes by foot or by bike going along the ditch which is always clean during the summer season.
In the area of Bonalaccia there aren’t many accommodations, in fact there is only one residence; nevertheless there are many apartments and villas for rent having most of them outdoors area and garden with barbecue.
Among the services to be found in Bonalaccia we suggest a pastry shop which makes very nice bread and croissants for breakfast. If you want to buy more food it is necessary to go to Marina di Campo or to La Pila near the airport, where you will find a supermarket (and a free parking).
In addition we would like to mention that this comfortable location is only about few metres away from La Foce where you can find different types of rental and restaurants with pizzeria.
Among the curiosity of Bonalaccia we remember the recreational club which is attended by local people from many generations to organize events.
