Where is the Camping Stella Mare
The Camping Stella Mare is located in Lacona, south of the Elba Island. To Lacona reached by car from Portoferraio, follow always the signs to Porto Azzurro. At this point there are two options: Turn right towards San Giovanni and than to the signs to Lacona, or continue to drive to the direction of Porto Azzurro and turn right at the intersection. Once arrived in Lacona drive along the avenue that runs parallel to the sea (Allee) until you see the camping sign.
The Camping Stella Mare
The camping STELLA MARE is situated in the Tuscan Archipel National Park, surrounded by nature, next to the sea. Stella Mare is located directly on the sandy beach of Lacona, 1 km long and is perfect for children. Lacona also offers two picturesque rocky beaches and there it's very quiet.
The Service of Camping Stella Mare
We offer for the entire season free bicycles rental, but also in high season (from Whitsun to early September), animation and free windsurfing school. The camping is in agreement with the large Blue Diving Center, which is very close. We also have an agreement with the golf club Acquabona and the restaurant Il Capitano (For more information, please look at the price list.) Nearby there are rental cars, scooters, and several water sports vehicles and equipment. For boaters, there is the possibility to rent a berth (tel. 39.348.2609849). Our Camping Stella Mare has three stars and is equipped with bar, restaurant / pizzeria and a grocery store. We have a playground in a pine forest near the entrance, and a children's pool in a central location of the campsite. Medical facilities are three available, which are all equipped with modern facilities.
Premises Camping Stella Mare
BUNGALOWS: This is the solution for those who want to spend their holidays in the nature, but do not want to sleep in tents or caravans. Our bungalows are built directly on the sea, surrounded by nature with impressive views of the Gulf of Lacona. The comfortable cottages include a fully equipped kitchen (including furnished), two bedrooms, bathroom and air conditioning. A covered porch with table and chairs. Mobile homes are located 100 meters from the sea.
APARTMENTS: Our apartments are located outside the campground, at a distance of about 500 m. Surrounded by vineyards and gardens, they are perfect for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. A road (200 m) leads directly to the main beach of Lacona, who is one of the largest and most beautiful beaches on the island. With its fine golden sand, it is ideal for children. The beach of Lacona is situated in the middle of two headlands, these are ideal for walks, you are in contact with the nature of untouched Mediterranean. Our campsite is also limited by two small, quiet shingle beaches at the foot of the Stella Marina. The guests of our apartments can use all the services offered by the campsite.

The Beach
The Camping Stella Mare is located in a beautiful location, on the promontory of Capo Stella, directly to one of the beautiful and well-equipped sandy beaches of the island of Elba.
Sport
What sports facilities are within the vicinity of the camp? The beach of Lacona is certainly the best beach of Elba in terms of entertainment and water sports. Here you can dive by the Blue Diving Center immersion. Boat trips to snorkel can be made. It is also possible to rent water skis and canoes (Bagni Lacona) in order to reach the hidden bays. Boat tours are available. The camp is in agreement with the golf club Acquabona (9-hole) (a few minutes drive away). Do not forget about hiking: Hiking in the middle of the green Mediterranean island, the routes will lead you directly from the campsite, with varying degrees of difficulty and duration.
