How to reach the Hotel La Stella
Our hotel is located adjacent to the sea, with sandy and rocky beaches, on the western side of the island along the beautiful coast line that is also called «Costa del Sole». How to reach our Hotel in Seccheto: once you arrive at Portoferraio with the ferry, just follow the direction for Procchio and then for Marina di Campo. From Marina di Campo follow the road for "Cavoli-Seccheto-Fetovaia". Once you passed the Palombaia pass you enter in the Costa del Sole. A few km only after the little village of Cavoli you reach Seccheto where you find our hotel.

The Hotel has its own private beach, well equipped and complete with all services, solarium, panoramic terraces, garden with table tennis and private covered parking. Most of the rooms have sea view and a balcony, private bath, direct dial telephone, SAT-TV, hairdryer, safe deposit box, air-conditioning and central heating. We have internet Wireless access. Pets are welcome, but are not allowed in the restaurant, in the garden and at the beach.

Room Isola di Montecristo: single, double, triple or quadruple room, sea view with or without private balcony, air conditioning personally adjustable, TV, telephone, safe, some with mini-bar, private bath with shower, hairdryer.
Room Isola di Pianosa: single, double or triple room, sea view with private balcony or terrace, air conditioning personally adjustable, TV, telephone, safe, private bath with shower, hairdryer, some with mini-bar.

We hosts also a diving center (Diving Service Center) and school where all diving equipment may be rented, with facilities for diving-bottles refilling and boat berthing.

Description of Seccheto The Seccheto beach, 150 meters long and of fine sand, is easily accessible over a comfortable path departing from the main road. The beach is completely public, there are no beach establishments, just a little bar. 100 meters away you can find all the services of the village: newspapers, tobacco, mini-market, post office, church, bars and restaurants. The beach is framed by large, flat cliffs, forming ideal platforms to sunbath. The ground is sandy and the water cristal clear. On the left side the cliffs are called "Le Piscine" (the pools). Particular, natural rock formations have created shallow natural pools, just a few meters from the sea and ideal for playing children. On the right side, just in front of our hotel, the cliffs form a little creek where small boats can shelter. A place, not far away, to attrack boats can be reached by car. You find, within our hotel, a diving center, offering Padi diving lessons and guided excursions along the south-western coast line of the island.
