The museum is housed inside the Fortress Medicea of Linguella. Inside one can find amphoras from the Archaic Era, anchors, naval equipment from wrecks, and relics from the Roman times found the Villas Linguella, Capo Pero and delle Grotte. There is also a granite relief of the altar of Attiano from the 2nd century A.D..
