Isola d'Elba

Elba Island is the largest Island of seven Ilsands in the tuscan archipel. You find it north in the tyrrhenian sea. Elba is famous for touristic from Spring to the Fall. On Elba Island are eight communities, witch are Portoferraio, Campo nell'Elba, Capoliveri, Marciana, Poro Azzurro, Marciana Marina, Rio Marina and Rion nell'Elba. The most Famous Beach-Towns are Marina di Campo, Lacona, Procchio, Cavoli, Fetovaia, La Biodola, Bagniaia, Cavo, Naregnio, Pomonte, Seccheto and Lido di Capoliveri. Elba Islandis famous for the History of Ethrusken, Medici and Napoleon and for the vacation on the sea.

The Area from Elba is (223 km2) and the coste measures 146 km. From the more then 130 wonderful beaches are a copple of the nicest and most natural beaches of Italy and Europe.

• The Mountainsite on the west coste is famous for Monte Capanne with 1019 m. It is possible to climp this Mountain on foot or with railway and the beatyful panorama of the hole tuscan archipel to enjoy.
  
• The Centralzone of Elba is the most flat zone. There are the largest towns, like Portoferraio and Marina di Campo. On the Eastcoste you will find the most antique zone of elba since 400 Mio. years.
  
• On the site of Monte Calamita is also today the rest of iron and mineral mines, witch where also famous in the time of etrusken and greek.
